Cover bands don't change the world.
True, but a good cover can change your world. My philosophy regarding covers is that if my version of a Neil Young song sounds like Neil Young, I have failed and wasted everybody's time.
In the summer of 2010, I made a bunch of videos of me in my basement (mostly) playing cover songs. These are songs that I include in my sets as well as songs that have influenced me as a writer and creative type.
